Highlights

 

We are thrilled to announce the date for the seventh annual Wits and Words slam poetry contest.  The contest will take place at 7pm on Thursday, April 25th at The Receiver (128 Richmond Street) in Charlottetown.  Prizes and awards are sponsored by the Department of Education and Early Years and the Youth Engagement Working Group. 

Students who would like to participate in the contest must write two poems. They then choose which of the two poems they would like to perform first and will need to perform their second piece if they advance to the second round.  

Poems may not take more than 3 minutes to perform and must be performed without the use of a mic, costume, or prop.   

Students must submit their poems in advance to Mrs. Gordon for approval by Tuesday, April 17th

 

The Canadian Army Reserve is hosting a job fair at Morell High today.

  • Ms. Gallant is also still waiting for the third and final payment for the band trip from students. This was due last week.
